Dr.Shrikant Parikh
has been in IT industry for more than 25 years, 18 of which were in US.
During his career, he has played a variety of lead roles in areas of
entrepreneurship, software business/technology strategy, project
management, product development and R&D. He is a co-founder and ex-CTO
of Globe Ranger Corp. (US), a leading company in wireless SCM space.
Dr.Parikh had a long career with IBM (US) in business and technology
areas prior to that. He was a key member of several major product teams
of IBM and other companies. He has, over years, successfully shipped
complex software products and solutions in a range of industry
verticals.
He has advised, guided and been a consultant to, several of large IBM
clients. Dr. Parikh was the member of the pioneering management team
which founded the IBM’s outsourcing business in India.
His industrial research has resulted in total 33 patents (granted in US,
Europe or Japan) till date. He has also published over 50 invention
disclosures and research papers and served as a referee for IEEE
journals/conferences.
He holds a doctorate degree (SMU, USA) and a master’s degree (University
of Texas at Arlington, USA) in computer science from USA. Dr.Parikh was
also certified as a Project Management Professional (USA, 1993).
Dr.Parikh has been training senior professionals in software
project/outsourcing services management and topics in overall management
of SW/technology organizations. He also serves as an invited
international adjunct faculty member at one of top-ten MBA institutions
in India. He has helped in overall designing of MBA programs focusing on
technology management.
He has been awarded several invention awards from IBM and listed in
several editions of Who’s Who. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE.
He serves as an advisor/mentor to companies and his company has been
appointed by Government of India to advise it on and guide its
eGovernment initiatives.
Dr.Parikh takes a deep interest in professional and NGO activities and
has organized prestigious national conferences.
- Dr.Vandana Parikh
has over 18 years of state-of-art experience in biotech, 16 of which
were in US. Dr.Vandana has a rare mix of management, scientific and
technical skills.
She has published several high quality papers in top international
journals such as Science. Her research breakthroughs have set stage for
much larger research initiatives in the field. Her breakthrough
discovery of “Retrograde Pathways” is considered a seminal achievement.
She has over 10 publications (international) to her credit till date.
Breadth of her knowledge-base includes molecular biology, yeast
molecular biology, molecular immunology, cancer-genomics, mitochondrial
subsystem and biochemistry-chemistry.
She was a research scientist at UTSWMCD (one of top ten in US) for over
a decade. She has also served as a visiting scientist at top research
labs in US and managed collaborative research projects with other
leading research labs.
She also takes a deep interest in NGO activities.
Utpal Patel
Utpal has been offering high end consulting services related to Supply
Chain Logistics Strategy and Enterprise Architectures for about 15 years now.
During this tenure, he has been privileged to have worked with some of the
industry leading companies in the Oil and Gas, Hi-Tech, Retail, Logistics
and Metal industry verticals who had Intelligent Supply Chain and Logistics
Management as their top priority and was involved in developing best
practices solutions for class of problems associated with Merge-In-Transit,
Inventory constrained Transportation problems, Intelligent Asset Management,
Advanced Logistics Management, Demand Management, Inventory Management and
Order Fulfillment.
Industry leading and Fortune darling companies like Shell, Texas
Instruments, Lockheed Martin, IBM, Bethlehem Steel(now US Steel), North
American Logistics have engaged his continuous services for long term
strategic projects during which he has worked with the top management to
define practical solutions for advanced Supply Chain and Logistics
Management.
He has extensive experience in leading globally distributed teams of Senior
Solutions Strategists/Architects and Business Process Owners for solving
complex business problems and designing enterprise wide architectures.
He
has played solution advisory roles on very large and complex projects and
has been instrumental in closing multi-million dollar deals through his
thought leadership and consultative selling.
Utpal is based out of Dallas,USA and holds Master’s degree in Computer
Engineering with a minor in Industrial Engineering from The University of
Arizona, Tucson, USA. He takes deep interest in mass-based NGO acitivities.
